Garden of Fine Arts In The Rain

On that day, the winter rain in Kyoto was small and dense, and it kept falling from morning to afternoon. In the rain, I visited a small art museum designed by Mr. Tadao Ando: Garden of Fine Arts.

The museum is open to the sky, with several concrete walls separated by high and low pools. Rainwater falled freely on the surface of the pool, and the water in the pool flowed from high to low. The sound of water eliminated the noise of the city. I was surrounded by the sound of water. This sound was so solemn and so pure, which made my introvert so quiet, I forgeted everything around me at that time.

Rain

Water

Garden

Sound

Arts
